I have a very limited understanding of how to maximize these points.

But looking briefly at the redemption page for booking flights, it seems you could snag a flight in one direction for 12.5k but the flight back within a week or two of that runs 20-30k unless you take a vacation for a month and find another 12.5k flight.

In this example I'm using ORD to LAX

It seems delta already went that way. So sad. Most flights i search for the points are not even worth a penny each.

I've not dealt with American Airlines points before. Can they be cashed out for gift cards or anything else?

I did get the 50k bonus on this card despite having an existing Barclays (US Airways converted) card. I am wondering if they would match the 60k now given my new account is less than 90 days old

What's the min.amount to spend to get those 60k miles credited?
Seems like you gotta pay yearly fee $95 well in advance?

I have an existing AA Advantage platinum card, that won't affect this deal right?

And obviously the miles Will credit into my existing AA Adv account right?
Thanks

Yes just pay the annual fee and swipe your card to make a single transaction like buying a coffee or something. If you are talking about the Citi AA card then no having that doesn't affect this offer. I had both at the same time and still got the offer when it was 40K.

Yes while applying it will ask for you Aadvantage number.

Didn't give me option to enter coupon code, it took my application and said we'll let you know in writing
