This is THE highest rated power supply on the market right now. Normally priced $200 for the 850W unit (the one to get if you are building a high end PC and aren't going to SLI), Anandtech called its performance "mythical" and said "Before testing these three units, we would not believe that such performance would be possible with a consumer-grade PC PSU. [anandtech.com]"

Tom's Hardware had nothing but praise for the unit and said the only downside was the price, but "if you want one of the best PSU offerings that money can buy, a Prime Titanium model will easily meet your demands [tomshardware.com]."

This is one of the only power supplies to get a 10/10 from Jhonny Guru who wrote, "This is to date the most stable power supply I have ever tested. By far. It gave me beyond mythic regulation to the point I might have to buy a new meter to quantify stability in anything else like it, ripple control was insanely good, and the unit was pushing 95% efficiency at one point. [jonnyguru.com]"

You can also get the this bad boy on sale for $169 from Amazon [amazon.com] if you hate rebates and Newegg. Even this is the lowest price this power supply has ever been. But $129 after $30 rebate is a steal. The Seasonic 850 Titanium easily destroys all other power supplies in that price range. It is not even close.

I want this power supply but not in the 850 watt range. I want 650 or 750. For everyone else this PSU has never been this cheap for the best rated PSU on the market right now. Rep given to OP.

One thing I will mention is that some people say the cables are a bit short, but you can always extend them. That does add to the price. Something to consider if you have a giant case.

Running a SS-760XP2 Platinum on my 5930k for the last 3+yrs without a hitch and dead quite , but Iam still VERY tempted on this deal .

As mentioned above , wish the lower 650 and 750 watters for also included in a simular sale .

Dangit....on sale for the price I paid for my 750 Platinum SeaSonic unit?! Really?!?!? ARGH!, 100 more watts, better performance, better warranty, same price.
Sometimes.....sometimes I just....I just get so annoyed.....I just need to tell myself that it's ok.....my PSU is still really good and was a good price for what it is....this is just a much better deal, but my deal was ok....it's all ok.
Everything is going to be ok...

All you need is 450 Watts anyway!!!!
