This is NOT Discount Tire Direct, this is through your local store (or purchase online and schedule appointment), so this is NOT a repost

Yawn. Before the tarrifs of 8 years ago you could buy 4 tires for $150, now they are offering a $160 rebate. Scary as hell.

True, back in the good old days I remembered around $30 per Michilin, 4 tires including installation was less than $150 at Costco.

In the future when all cars are electric, I'm guessing they will tax tires even more to make up for the loss in gasoline tax revenue.

So on some tires is it possible to get the $100 rebate 26562
And there is also a $100 rebate from the manufacturer ?

Yes, there are some manufacturer's that currently have their own rebates. You can view rebates here (some are no longer open): https://www.discounttire.com/promotions
The rebates can be stacked as they are not both coming from Discount Tire

Or if you browse for tires, the site usually tells you if they are eligible for a manufacturer rebate.

Make sure any tires match EXACTLY to manufacturer rebate form to be eligible.

Also keep in mind that Discount tire uses a "Good / Better / Best" rating on tires, and only the "Best" are eligible for their $100 rebate, $75 for "Better", and $50 for "good"

I went to Discount Tire today. They had the Labor Day sale signs up and the manager said they had started the promotion early. I was able to get Continental Pure Contact (with $70 rebate ending 8/31) along with the DT $100 rebate (that wasn't supposed to start until 9/1).

Obviously, ymmv on your store starting the sale early. But the manager told me to call him if the rebate caused me any issues. Good deal and DT was very helpful.

If we buy the tires in store, is there a promo code that needs to be entered by the store? If we a price match in store, do we still qualify for the rebate? If so, can we submit the rebate online even if purchased in store?

I've never been able to get tires that cheap. 8 years ago, I remember paying 150 plus per tire for my Mazdaspeed3. Maybe if you had some 14" skinny tired corolla.

Excellent deal you got there! Seems like a great tire. I'm about 10k from needing to change out, but with deals like that, it's probably better to buy early. Not sure I can combine the rebates like you did. Last set of tires I purchased I did the Bing thing years ago and were incredibly cheap. Ugh. Buy now with 10k life or hope for a fall deal? They'll need replacement by mid October with my driving habits. What do they charge for install and balancing?

The manager printed both rebate forms and highlighted the invoice numbers and offer #. I didn't price shop too much but he did mention they could match discount tire direct and get the rebates. You can submit the rebate online.

The Pure Contact was the best Grand Touring tire I could find with a current rebate. Gets good reviews on Tirerack.com but they are new to me. I had Michelins prior. Bridgestone Turanza Serenity was another option for a few more dollars.

Install was $19 per tire with free rotations and repairs. A few bucks for valve stems and disposal. I got the certificates since my daughter will drive the car and she just got her temps. I just know she'll hit a curb or something!

Thanks. Was the offer number on your invoice? Or did you mean the offer number on the rebate form?
