Awesome ty! I bought one. Will have to see if the Home or Echo is better and decide which one to sell.

I just bought the gen 3 starter kit at Home Depot for $100. Three color bulbs and hub. Isn't that a better deal? Picked up three kits.

Selling the google home sucks. I've had mine for weeks and people only offer $50 or less for it

That's clearance at Home Depot B&M and a big YMMV. (My nearest store had nothing left in stock.)

This is available online and pretty much everywhere. So at least it's attainable. But you'd have to sell the Google Home to replicate the Home Depot deal.

You might want to double check that or try ebay. I did this same deal a couple weeks ago, sold google home on eBay for $84 + 10 for S/H. sold he hub for $31 total. Pretty good deal for 3 gen 3 bulbs.

Not as good if you have Discover and before they changed the price match policy a few months ago. They had them at Walmart for $20 for the starter so people were able to price match to them

Changed what PP policy? Thought that was still happening.

It used to be that they would allow LED bulbs since it came with the hub but the policy changed a lot to include electronics so the last time I tried they denied it and I havent been able to get it through at all now

Better if you get it. YMMV is a pain in the ass!
