I was trying to dig up some reviews about this line of MSI gaming displays and there doesn't seem to be much available.

Looks like it's not VESA compatible which kills it for me (reps for anyone that proves me wrong). If you plan to use the included stand it appears to be a really good deal though (it appears to be a Samsung panel from what I saw).

- why is a 24'' monitor curved???
- why is it only 1080, where are the extra 120 pixels???
- why do they always make the 144Hz out to be more than it actually is??? the blurred to all hell "General Monitor" is just hilarious.
- why would you ever need 178° viewing angle on a gaming monitor??? you plan on plan on playing perpendicular to the monitor or something???
- "FPS Front Sight", seriously??? your game doesn't give you a big enough reticule or one at all... well here you go, play the game as it wasn't designed!!!

i'm sure i could come up with a few more thoughts... but those are my main ones from a quick glance at the ebay page. thanks for asking for them though, it's nice to know you care Wink

These do suffer from backlight bleed. I ended up keeping mine, mainly because of that fact that they have a Samsung VA panel, which is difficult to find at this price point.

Thankfully for you - there are plenty of other monitors to chose from. To cover your points:

24" doesn't need to be curved. This is a fact.

1080p is fine for most gaming, especially at 144hz. Higher resolution at that refresh rate wouldn't be optimal for most PC builds. Note this wouldn't be priced sub $200.. it'd be a couple hundred $$ more

144hz does create a better experience - almost buttery vs. lower refresh rate. That's just a fact.

Viewing angle doesn't really matter, but that can't really be a con.

Not sure wtf is FPS front sight but that's funny.

For the price - this is a good monitor. If you're not worried about frames or refresh rate and want the best image, look elsewhere.
