Fair deal, but IMO you're sacrificing the heavier duty DCD996 20V MAX XR 3-Speed 1/2-in Hammerdrill with all metal transmission for an extra 1.0Ah per battery when compared to the Lowe's deal on combo DCK299M2. With the readily available 40 off $200 coupon, you're at ~$249 there [lowes.com]. This kit's MSRP pricing certainly seems inflated at $557 over the other kit's $369 MSRP at Lowes, as EVERYTHING else is the same (4Ah charger in both kits).

FWIW, here's an extra code I didn't use and just verified is good on lowes.com- it's all I have, please don't ask for more if someone has redeemed it already.

There is a better deal in store, see the pictures I've attached. I posted this the other day, but got no love. Notice on the attached pictures, the reciprocating saw is actually $249 in store instead of the $299 in the ad and online. And it's a 60V brushless which comes with a 60V 6.0amp battery, charger, and bag, and an extra bare 20V tool or battery (up to $150 value).

The 11% rebate is still going on for in-store purchases in some areas: https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com/#/home

Interesting deal. I bet that reciprocating saw is a hard working machine.

Could you get the bare DCD791B with this deal?

Not sure if the DCD791B will count since it's not specifically listed. However, it's retail price is $129 and the ad says up to $150 value, so it may count. Personally, I was looking for the jigsaw in the past, so I was happy to see it listed. I think this was a heck of a deal for $249!

pretty sure the $249 portion of the deal died everywhere on aug 30. i went after the grinder on aug 31 and the sawzall and the grinder both had bumped up to $299 in all my regions store. i think $249 was a NLP that ended when the old ad ended < aug 30 >
