Nice post.

Those are good prices, but those hybrids are more like comfort bikes. I think Giant finally stopped referring to the Cypress as a hybrid, and I kind of wish Diamondback would, too.

Normally I don't like nitpicking over vocabulary. But I think some people get the wrong idea of what a "hybrid" is when they get a comfort bike and are puzzled by how they can't comfortably ride 20 miles on their comfort bike and decide they don't like biking or "hybrids."

This was taken from the bottom of the product description, in bold...

We strongly recommend that a professional bicycle mechanic properly assembles, repairs, and maintains the bicycle. DICK'S Sporting Goods will provide free in-store assembly service by a certified technician for any bicycle purchased on our website or in our stores (proof of purchase required). If you choose to assemble the bicycle yourself, DICK'S Sporting Goods is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper assembly.

So you need a touring bike for comfort? What's the difference?

The sorrento is $329 and on the model that you linked the only one that is $202 is the 21/XL the other 3 sizes are $224.98 without assembly.

This seems to be a post on shipped deals only, but if you go to the store, Dick's will price match anything now, including eBay. I just bought the Edgewood at my local Dick's yesterday morning for $199.99 (price matching eBay), already assembled and fully inspected right before purchase. Don't know if this is already obvious, but posted it just in case

FYI I saw the Diamondback Atroz there on sale for around $400, which is significantly cheaper than what I've seen online on Amazon/eBay. Too expensive for me, but looks like a good deal for sure.

Great info! any specific ebay vendors that you used to get a price match?
I have seen jenns_bikes deals posted for a Diamondback trace before
