3-4 months ago I submitted a rebate via Asus, it was rejected because I sent in an eBay invoice/receipt.

I had to request an invoice from Atonline and they sent it within 10 minutes. It was an Atonline invoice.

I purchased this motherboard and the rebate has already processed and has been approved (see attached).

What invoice did you submit? Do we even get an invoice when buying on Ebay? Did you just send them the Paypal transaction?

Decent Board, although a bit dated for design even for a z170. 2 pci slot instead of a more pcie 2-4x slots is a bit weird, but some people still have pci sound or usb, or Ethernet cards. USB ports is also lacking, 2 usb3, 2 usb2, and 1 type C, so definitely need a expansion card or a hub. Only see those 2 things I would consider a put off, other wise a decent board. Especially since Asus came out with bios updates to support 7 series intel processors.

Throw in a low cost Skylake Pentium or i3 CPU and OC it into the basis of a decent gaming rig on the cheap: https://overclocking.guide/download/asus-z170-k-non-k-oc-bios/

Does this board ship with the older BIOS that supported BLCK overclocking?

Decent board and I would jump in too if it's micro since not too many people would buy a full ATX case nowadays

I purchased one of these a couple months back (same deal but a bit more). My board did not have a Kaby lake compatible BIOS on it. Could have changed since then but I wouldn't count on it.

On the bright side, rebate went through with no problems--as others have mentioned you need to request the seller invoice and not use the eBay one.

Yes it's a bit dated but for $32 this is an amazing deal for a Z170 board. I got it last time at around $80 with the $25 rebate. They will reject it until you get the invoice from urlhasbeenblocked directly, which you have to request by email, they reply pretty fast. Now its even lower. Not sure if I want another one. At $32 its an amazing price considering the lower chip-sets at best are on sale for $25.
*oops necroed.
