Just a heads up, these can be connected with SmartThings, but I cannot for the life of me get it to reliably stay connected. And I've done the special procedure that they recommend with all Xiaomi devices, but I just can't get the button to cooperate.

It's requires an 'advanced' pairing process unless you're a bit IT saavy, it's pretty easy. I paired mine where it's going to permanently be and it hasn't disconnected for a few weeks that I've owned it. https://community.smartthings.com...beta/77576

if you have a weak mesh network it could disconnect.

I've got 2 motion sensors and 2 of these buttons and I'm 3 for 4 on keeping them connected. I've also done the special procedure to get them paired in the first place and tried it again for the motion sensor that dropped off the network. The sensor will connect for a few hours and then drop again.
I saw a fix on the ST community thread about these that involves completely removing all other Zigbee devices that might have inserted themselves as routing nodes to these and then powering everything off for a while to force a mesh rebuild.

Frankly, this is too much work and disruption for a maybe-fix for a 7 dollar device so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone without an itch to tinker.
The buttons in particular have issues with reporting presses as either long or short despite always giving them a quick tap. I ended up writing some WebCORE rules to handle this case, again something you'll have to tinker with to get reliable operation.
I'll keep the 3 remaining functional devices I have until they drop off the network and then look for replacements from a more reliable vendor.
