Yes but refurbished. A brand new one would cost about $1800..

Just noticed that Rakuten Rewards MasterCard holders can get $80 off $815 = $735

Imo this is a bit too old (and is also the base model 15") to be much of a deal to most people. I do still use a mid 2012 with 512g but it is probably close to being replaced. You might consider a 2016 brand new 13" for closer to $1k. The going price for these on eBay is 5-750 used and a sealed one recently sold for $990. Recent refurb was $850 (could be a seller refurb though). Thanks for posting.

If you can find a brand new 2012, you won't pay 1800. A brand new 2015 w Beats headphone (the apple promo) is 1800.

Correct. The only real refurbs are from
Apple directly and they don't refurb models this old.

I own this model and use it everyday. It is still pretty fast, but no AC so wifi is not as fast as I would Ike.
