System Specs
Intel Core i7 - 4765T Quad Core
nVidia GeForce GTX GPU w/2GB GDDR5
(NVIDIA GTX 860M+.. modified 860M with a slightly higher clock.. should be comparable to a 750ti)
8GB DDR3
1TB 7200RPM HDD
2x2 802.11 Wireless Card
Steam Controller

Not sure how many they got. It's gamestop so you either are ok with them or hate them. But ain't bad for an open box. I personally paid the same price for an i3 and am still happy with it. I also believe that this will be the best VALUE ever. Nobody could ever pack in so much power in such a little chassis without overheating issues. Actually this probably is as good as it could get.. I wouldn't necessarily get any hardware above these specs in this little box. Until they come out with smaller technological nodes at least (which probably won't be until several years and will come at a hefty price anyways). For this money, nothing can beat it.

Points:
1. Only good if you want something better than a steam link (i.e. not dependent on turning on two devices). You can use this as a Steam Link or as an independent unit that can play 1080p on its own. Can play >90% of games out there for PC.
2. If you really want a PC that's console-like in the living room that's petit.
3. You are willing to mod a few things (hardware: SSD and RAM -- Probably $100 + $20, software: Windows 10 which can be on sale now and then for cheap for roughly $15-$20 if you look hard enough).
4. Not 4K. You will have to look at the Alienware Alpha R2 for that but it is much more than $600. Haven't checked that lately because it's not within price range I consider slickdeal.

Summary: Looking for a value gaming desktop for the living room that needs a little tender care.. this is perfect for you. It can also be used for general computer use and a rather cheap one at that (consider the GPU a bonus in that case).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Mine literally is a paperweight. Buyers beware, I purchased a new Alpha machine directly from Dell last year and the device booted up once and anytime I tried to start it up after it gave me nothing but yellow rings of death. Dell support was useless, they wanted me to pay $45 for return shipping so they can diagnose a machine I had purchased 2 days earlier directly from them. At the end of it all they made some bogus excuse with the warranty and said I would have to pay $350 for repairs, which conveniently was after the return window closed. Oh yeah, they don't just let you request a replacement, they told me they first need to diagnose and try to repair before I would be eligible for a replacement. I am sure that there are people who have had no issues with the steam machine or alpha, but just be aware that the yellow blinking lights are apparently a pretty common problem. I learned my lesson buying from them, hope you guys never have to deal with their customer service.

The GPU in this is a GTX 860m (roughly a 750 ti)

$300 for this is an awesome value, you can't really get anything this powerful for this cheap. I bought the i3 version and it does run most games at Xbone/PS4 quality. Really nice and small PC, it can do all this by using laptop parts.

I got the windows version and made sure to get another stick of RAM to do dual channel (not sure if this one has 1 or 2 sticks installed). The included HDD is slow so the advice to upgrade to SSD is legit. If you want a small capable PC, definitely consider it.

Is this the model that has the flaky bios that causes huge problems on the hardware?

I have an i5 version, it's my bedroom htpc and it rocks for what it is. Paid 400 a year and a half ago on eBay, installed a 500gb ssd and it's been solid.
