Many reviews online suggest this phone performs terribly in the US, mostly on T-Mobile and AT&T networks. Many people stated they only get 2G and 3G connections. Look at your providers network bands and read some reviews before you purchase this phone, or any other for that matter.

Why do people continue to post global phones from China that do not have the necessary bands for US coverage?

Long. About a month, give or take a few days to a week.

Some China phones the correct bands to work on 3G/HSPA+ and those speeds are still fine for many people. I mean they used to be the only speeds available not all that long ago. I owed a Japan version Sony Z3 that would only get HSPA+ speeds and side by side with my wifes Moto G4 on LTE there was no real difference in speed. For the right price I would have no problem buying any phone that only offered HSPA+.
