You can price match at Walmart or BestBuy if that's preferred.

Really great deal if you only need 450va. For reference, 900va units can usually be had for around $60.

Anyone knows what kind of plugin this has? Is it right angled or straight? I'm putting this on a small ledge behind my wall mounded TV.

Will this work with a NAS and how long would it last for? Not sure what's the difference between this and other big UPS. I only intend on using it with NAS, not my desktop.

You have to be more specific... Model, number of drives, etc... Do you have a killawatt?

Around 60 minutes under load. 160 minutes with the drives hibernating.

Wow. That's a long time. This is better than the bigger ones?

No, bigger is better Wink The DS916+ draws 13 watts with the drives hibernating and 30 watts under load. This is the power graph from APC, so you can see the estimated runtime. Put you mouse along the green line to read the runtime at your loads.

Right. I guess the bigger ones allow me to plug my PC in as well. Would have lower run time in case of a power outage but allows me to do a proper shut down. I'm mainly just using it for NAS. So anything else might be overkill. Just want to use it so it doesn't cause drive failures due to power outage.

You can always get a second for your desktop. And this is plenty to allow the NAS to shut down. You can connect the UPS to the NAS via usb and have the Synology safely shut down when there is an extended power outage.
