Campsaver Outlet has the Big Agnes Rattlesnake SL2 mtnGLO 2-person backpacking tent with a FREE footprint for $143.99 after coupon with Free 2-Day shipping.

Use code: LABOR20

https://www.campsaver.com/big-agn...-tent.html

To help clear up some confusion, scroll down a smidge and look for "Buy together and save" and click "Add both to cart" to get both the tent and footprint.

Comes with the footprint for free which is huge since that's $60 alone. You have to check the box to add the free footpring. REI currently has this tent for $262 without the footprint.

This is for those who want a high quality backpacking or light weight tent. Not exactly a Coleman. Has won a lot of awards and it has integrated LEDs in the seams so you don't have to fumble around looking for your lamp. Backpacker Magazine 2015 Editors Choice. Hell of a deal and I had bought one from Campsaver last year for $210 with the footprint.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Coleman doesn't make high quality tents for backpackers.

The Buy Now link does not work but the link provided in the Details does.

Wow, that's a great deal. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to do some solo backpacking. For two it'd be a stretch, unless both people are pretty small, and ready to be quite cozy.

What is considered small? Under 6 ft?

For reference, my Gunnison 2.3 is 30 sqft (which is 3 more square feet than this) and we were able to fit me at 6'4", my wife at 5'11", and a 40 lb dog quite comfortably.

27 I think should be OK for 2 people around 6' tall.

The floor dimensions, per this site [backcountry.com], are 88 x 52 in, which is 7 ft. 4 in. by 4ft. 4in. For comparison, a full sized bed is 53 inches wide. Also, the walls slope in a bit.

Could definitely be a matter of personal preference.

If it's raining, it'll keep two people dry... that's what counts.

Thanks OP, in for one

Bought one. Not quite as light as some of the options I'd been eyeing, but for long weekend trips away from the city it seems like a great price. Thanks!

Fantastic tent. Warning, It's a tight fit for 2 people but this is backpacking tent not a tent to car camp out of. I do not have the mtnGLO version buts it is the same dimensions and material. I am 6'3 250, wife is 5'8. You can fit two backpacking sleeping pads side by side perfectly. There is an vestibule the has some size for packs and shoes. The is a must by if in the market, especially for the price. Thanks op!

I have no need for a tent at the moment, but this is a great deal. I sort of wish I did have a use for another tent...

Great deal. I've been going back and forth between getting this and the Marmot limelight. It's a no brainer at this price, though.
