Great deal. GPU's need lots of power when mining Crypto.

You REALLY don't need this unless you are 3 way SLI with 1080 Ti's

To be fair, I have an overclocked 5960X, 2 1080TI's and bunch of other crap along with a full custom loop, and I max out under full load at about 1000w. 1200w isn't unreasonable for such a system. I use an EVGA G3 1000w because I needed one less than 170mm in length.

Home servers and monster systems can easily draw 1200w.

1200W is in fact a little weak for a mining rig. Newer rigs can hold 8-12 gpu and usually draw at least 1100-1300w. Just FYI

Miners sometimes use 1200w or more because they need to run 6 GPU

You can use two or more PSU's in a daisy chain, which is cheaper than buying a single larger PSU.
