It is never a good deal to buy a mask without trying it on. My wife and I are avid scuba divers and snorklers. We've spent a lot of money for masks that didn't fit right and didnt seal properly four our faces and we've bought low priced masks that sealed perfectly. If you dont want your trip ruined shopping for the right mask because the mail order one didn't fit you right, do yourself a favor... go to a local dive shop and try a few on and buy one that fits your face properly. They aren't that expensive. The best fitting mask I ever bought cost $26 versus others I've spent well over $60 for.

Thanks. Ordered 2! Code worked for both. $25.98 for 2. It also worked on both the pink and navy.

On our previous trip we got the same set from Costco x 5 and it fitted everyone fine. We're not that picky, doesn't need to be perfect for a few hrs of snorkel.

Fair enough. The snorkel is probably worth the money if it stays dry anyway.

thanks for passing on your experience.
Is there a trick (besides the obvious breathing in and out with mask on face) to getting a good fit when I try on masks in-person at a dive shop?

fakespot = A, btw. That's a bit of a surprise.
