$15.05 at a store that's only somewhat near me. If I actually needed a pair I would get them. $9 is a great price. Hopefully I remember to keep an eye on these for future price drops

I've never seen these before. Looks like it has a wire nut grip built in

What makes these so special to be worth a normal price of $43? The clearance price is about the same as other Irwin vice grip pliers...Are these better?

Ordered for the ability to cut nails "with ease" for $7.50. Two different stores, two separate cancellations. Typical Lowes BS. Now I have to wait for the refunds to hit my gift card.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I was just thinking about posting the lineman tool. It is a good tool made in Germany. Quality is comparable to Klien. Amazon is selling for $32 and this is half that price so this is actually a nice price at $15 and a steal at $9 or below.

These are German-made pliers that are much higher quality than the cheap Asian imports that make up most of Irwin's line.

Nowhere near me for less that $20 for either version. Would definitely buy at the OP's prices.

Yea, I usually don't have gift cards. I only had some this time because I had a door that I was going to buy, so I stocked up on them from Staples.

Anything to be aware of with the funds going back to the gift card, or just wait patiently?

to make a long story short, never pay using gift cards @lowes for something that might not be in stock or has any chance of being cancelled by the store. theyre going to issue you a new gift card and send it by mail, or ups, or fed ex. dont really know how they decide. also, it could take weeks to get it and good luck calling for info. the store will tell you to call customer care, customer care will tell you to call the store, its a real shitshow.

3 out of my last 5 online lowes orders were cancelled, im waiting about 3 weeks now for ~$80 worth of refunds. ive been abusing the 15off50 and 10%off gc and 5% upromise cb site for years now, but these last few trips have soured me on the whole deal. its not worth the aggravation anymore imo

Not true. You can call customer service and get the funds put back on the card. Done it several times
