Beware, I've owned the original fitbit flex, HR Charge, and now the HR Charge 2. These things typically last only a year.

My fitbit flex I replaced two times, the rubber band tore twice,

The HR Charge I replaced because it stopped turning on due to sweat.

The fitbit Charge 2 I replaced the band because it bubbled up and just last week I replaced the unit because the screen started fading until eventually it was completely black.

The units themselves were never built for longevity. Every fitbit is claimed to be water resistant, but each one has a small hole or opening in the unit where water gets in (I have no idea why they keep doing this). However within the year, Fitbit will always honor your warranty and send you a new unit. But without the warranty, expect it to be a disposable item.

Kind of expensive, considering +$12 extra (tax+shipping) given their fairly vague language for the condition. How often do those go on sale? I will probably make a jump at $105 new...

Listed in the product page as: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty.

I bought mine new last November and I'm in need of a replacement band (Fitbit still can't figure out how to use an adhesive that doesn't separate after use). After tax and shipping this deal only so-so.

I bought this last time during Target's sale for $75 new.

Here are my thoughts: poor battery life. HR will not work when sweaty. not water resistance, can't even shower with it.

Returned it, cause it was 4x of mi band 2 and just about the same in functionality. not worth it.
