I have 3 B&D 20v Max batteries, a 26Wh from 2012, a 30Wh from 2014, and a 40Wh (the 2 Ah one in this deal) from 2016, and they all still run great. Take care of your batteries (don't run them down to 0, don't leave them sitting dead, and don't leave them on the charger) and they will last. Can't vouch for the Bluetooth ones, seems like a gimmick.

The Craftsman Bolt-On tool is a rebranded B&D (or maybe it's the other way around). Either way, they're 100% compatible.

The 20v Black and Decker battery (with bluetooth) that came with my drill had the red blinking death dots.

I bought a generic 20v battery on Ebay for $18.

I'd suggest avoiding B&D branded batteries. Food for thought.
Yep, one of my batteries(2 months old) just gave the dreaded blinking red light when trying to charge.

Man this is such a slap in the face. Yesterday I was putting up some drywall, and the charger for my old B&D drill broke(this was my backup drill, until someone stole my primary). So I searched online for a charger, found that my local Wal-Mart had one on clearance for $11. Rushed there and picked it up. Got home, doesn't fit the ancient batteries I have. 😡 Now this deal today, it's like they're laughing at me 😒
