ZTE Quartz, Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatch, T-Mobile for $48 with EIP and 24 monthly rebates

Just saw this smart watch is 75% off at T-Mobile.com.

ZTE Quartz is a simpler, 4G (not LTE) Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch for T-Mobile. It runs Android Wear 2.0.

I haven't used it, but have eyed it as a cheap Android Wear 2.0 watch. This is cheaper, and more capable, than the LG Watch Style, but not as a featured as the LG Watch Sport.

Order here: T-Mobile.com [t-mobile.com]

Total is $8/month for 24 months EIP, with $6 rebate every month. Total, after rebates is $48.

Details:

Get 75% off the ZTE Quartz

To get this deal, just get a ZTE Quartz on an 24-month Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) for $8 per month. Then, for the next 24 months, you will receive a $6 bill credit every month for 24 months (for a total of $144 savings.)

Plus taxes and fees. Qualifying plan required. While supplies last. $0 down + $2/mo. after 24 monthly bill credits. Total price $192. 0% APR.

Updates:

This will likely require you to be on a wearable line or a DIGITS line, which duplicates your phone number, for $10/month. This allows you to use the watch as a standalone phone for calls, text, and data. If you participated in the DIGITS beta, which ended earlier this year, and you opted in for the free DIGITS duplicate line, this would mean you can do the upgrade for your free line.

So, you either have a DIGITS/wearable line to upgrade or will need to add one for $10/mo. There don't seem to be other options.

If you're trying to upgrade through My T-Mobile and you aren't seeing the device, then call or contact social media support on Twitter or Facebook. They may possible waive unnecessary fees.

True. I feel most people on T-Mobile are likely going to be sticking with T-Mobile. We'll see what tomorrow's Uncarrier event brings us (or takes away).

Do you have to sign up for service? Or just the 24 month commitment?

I had issues ordering wearables in the past as an upgrade. May be easier to call it in.

Seems like you do need to add a wearable plan line to do this... so there is incremental cost for that.

Previously, with the Gear S2 deal, I was able to change my free tablet line into a Digits line, no cost. T-Mobile One includes one free DIGITS line per line, or something. It may possibly work as the wearable line at no cost.

Been this price for quite sometime. I almost bought it until I saw it was bill credits and passed. If you cancelled for some reason you will pay the retail price minus payments made.

Are you paying for TMobile One Plus or on the free upgrade from February-March? I tried getting extra digit numbers and they said it's only for paid One Plus customers and not those who were upgraded for free during the promo period. My number has digits, but it was my understanding we got an extra digits number per line...I was denied.

Any way to get this deal without the need of a wearable line?

I'll try to get it myself but just in case someone figured it out.

Did the same when I added my LG. The big joke is that it has an e-sim yet still gets the $25 SIM charge.

This uses utms 1900, which means the watch won't be able to connect to tmo's network beyond a 2g signal in the markets they're making that band available for LTE - if at all.

Given that this is bill credits, I'd probably pass.
