Slick but not as slick as it was last week when the 32 GB version was on sale for same price as this 16 GB version.

Thanks a bunch. Ordered five. I think I am the only one that loves to take pictures with that camera that is NOT attached to my phone. These cards will be great to snap pictures at a party and give the card to the person!

Great find and nice deal! Thanks again for posting!

Yup, I got a couple of those 32 GB Pixtor cards for $5 each for my old Canon camcorder. They were the older version with max read speed of under 48 MBs/sec (write speed much slower) but are very reliable for older point-and-shoot cameras and 1080p camcorders. Newer Pixtor cards (still class 10/1) are rated about twice as fast at 80MBs/sec read (again write speed is slower).

Good for those who like to take photos and don't wanna risk losing photos by having them all on one card

Just to offer a differing viewpoint. You should never have your pictures on just your memory card regardless of the size. I always back it up to at least two different hard drives at two different locations e.g. Work. To multiple smaller memory cards is just harder to keep track of. The nice thing is that memory is so cheap now you can use it like film and just get a new card whenever it fills up and use it as another copy of your pictures.

not really slick.
they still have 32gb for 9.99 which essentially is same price of getting 2 of 16gb...
Worse than last deal, but i'd get 1 32gb than 3 16gb.

The comment might have been referring to having all of one event's photos on one card.

Say you shoot a wedding and a card gets corrupt. I would rather swap out during the day and use 3 different cards. That way if one goes bad I only loose 33.3% of my photos. Once I get home I would backup them up to multiple sources on and offsite.

That being said I also use a DSLR that has two SD card slots and have it set to record images to both. That way if one of my cards goes bad I have a backup. I still copy them to my file server and cloud storage every night when I am done.
