Friend sent this to me, he's pissed because he bought one for his living room and bought it for regular value. It's a great speaker, we watch games there all the time and is worth the money, with sale, it is a steal.

Has virtual surround, voice enhance, and nighttime modes. When watching Bruin's games, it sounds like Jack and Ed are in the living room talking to us. Great deal! Hope this helps someone.

Purchase for $148 from Fry's about 6 months ago. It's gotten as low a $99 now.

First soundbar so it's been a great upgrade for me over 10W TV speakers. Only negative I can think of is there is no levels indicator only an LED blinking confirming that you are turning the volume up or down. Additionally, have to keep the tiny remote handy if you want to adjust the sub (I've stuck to one setting and programmed TV remote for volume).

I got the Samsung HW-M360 for $89 at Fry's over the weekend. Anyone know how this one compares to that?

I'm also wondering if I should return that for this, I do like Klipsch

The Samsung decodes DTS and Dolby, while this Klipsch only does Dolby, if that matters at all. Even still I'm leaning towards this Klipsch

I searched the site for R-4B to see when it was I purchased it. Saw a post where it was $99 but it was a guess that it was R4-B. There was a FP deal for $130 + $30 Newegg GC though. Just saying, this is a good price but it does fluctuate.

Looking that the tech specs for your TV, it has Digital Audio Out (optical). This unit comes with the cable! All audio that goes through your TV will go through the soundbar. Soundbar even powers on when the TV does!

Do you have any issues with this turning off after a period of inactivity? Like if you pause a show for 10 minutes and then come back? I see this complaint a ton on soundbars and I saw a question on amazon stating this one does this as well. I think this would be super annoying especially if you don't keep the small remote handy to turn just it back on.

I'd want it to power up with the TV and stay on till the TV gets turned off (using the TV remote to send the on and off commands).

These auto power off "features" have kept me away from a bunch of these.

Unfortunately, this exact issue happens with this bar. If you pause for say 10 minutes, it shuts down. You can program a TV remote to control the bar (but only sound!) So when this happens for me, I just turn off the TV for a split second and back on and the bar comes back. This works well for me because the TV doesn't shut down fully for a few seconds so the Chromecast is still powered, YMMV.

EDIT: Programmed TV remote only does volume, not power so it is a pain in the butt to have to use the tiny remote to power it on. I use optical, so power toggle TV for same effect, the tiny remote is gathering dust.

That's funny, so it sounds like it powers on when it sees the optical signal from the TV but still decides to turn off if the optical signal is still present but not sending active audio....ugh. Thanks for the info!
