Salt is very regional insofar as variety is concerned. I am surprised the Cargill SKU came up for me (even though the store said it had 0 available for $1.50) because I've never seen it in the store. I generally stock up with 12 bags or so whenever it's on sale - which is becoming less and less actually.

I've only used the Morton Salt pellets for the last 4 years as a homeowner. Always stock up on a sale. Its been a while since I saw another sale. Bought 2 bags @ ~$5 a week back at home dept and cringed.

I'm a noob. It is okay to replace with this salt?
