Amazon has the MANGROOMER Ultimate Pro Self-Haircut Kit with LITHIUM MAX Power that is very similar to the Remington product that has been popular. List price from Mangroomer is $49.99...Amazon has it for $34.99. There is a $10 coupon on Amazon's product page making it $24.99.

Is this better than my Flowbee?

In the bathroom. Put rugs and towels away. Stay away from the sink (water makes hair sticky and hard to clean). Make sure there is no water on the floor.

Once you're done cutting, take 30 seconds to broom and you're done.

If this performs like the Remington, then get it. I have the Remington and it's actually better than holding a traditional clipper when cutting my own hair. It doesn't give a super super close shave like my old clipper but it's good enough.

The main difference is that the blades are flat instead of curved. I see that as a good thing but then again I have never used the Remington with the curved blades.

I don't think the curve and straight edge makes much of a difference as I've been using traditional straight edge clippers for years and I still manage to adapt to the difference.

Got the Remington last month during its deal and am very happy with it. I've only used it twice so far, but already have enough skillz to style a taper-fade up to like an inch on top. So no, you don't have to stick with the typical buzzcut. First time cutting my own hair, so I can't speak for curve vs. straight blade, but I'd be apprehensive of my own abilities to get this good of a cut without the curve.

I used to use a beard trimmer to fade/blend my own hair but it was a pain to clean. Do you guys trim over the sink? In the shower? Garage? Outside?

Does anyone know if this would work on Indian pubic hair?
Atta boy.

Make UGA look even more redneck than it (already, albeit falsely) does. SMH.

I'll stick to shaving my nuts with a straight razor.
