Actually, probably not. It requires a guitar input to vary from the fixed preset harmony intervals. it does have some separate FX that you could use but they are somewhat limited and if what you really wanted was just a vocal FX processor, there are other units better suited to that.

I don't know why every time a voice process deal comes along someone would come in and say "karaoke". These items are not for karaoke purpose. I'm not saying that you "can't" do karaoke with it. However, would you like to be the one sitting on the side constantly having to adjust the setting for everyone else when it their turn? These are not set and forget pieces of equipment..

It's just a matter of time before anybody can sound like Adele or Freddy Mercury. That's just a fact.

Well that's a crazy coincidence... I've been researching this exact unit and was about to bid on a used one on eBay and this came up. Thanks.

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to sing, this will add some layering and harmonies to your voice and some terrific effects. I've had other TC Helicon products but not this one.
It can also apply pitch correction if you have a source for chords that it can pick up (piano or guitar are the typical ones). If not, then you would have to set the key manually for the pitch correction functionailty otherwise it may be worth it just for the compression, de-esser, reverb, and delay.

This is a great deal. Can't wait to get mine. I was thinking about going all out and getting hte voicelive 3 extreme and replace my guitar FX pedal as well to have everything in one unit but this was too good to pass up.
