Guys its $225. You'll give up something. VA panel supposedly pretty close. That said, I'm waiting for the Omen version which has been 300 new. its 75 instead of 60 and supposedly a little faster (5ms) though haven't seen that actually tested

I own the Omen 32 QHD; I bought it during BF '16. For the price and features, it's been a great monitor. The Pavilion on the other hand, $225 for a refurb is meh. The Omen is clearly the better option IMHO; especially for gaming with the faster response time and better specs overall. I would have to agree,I would wait for a deal on the Omen. It was on sale for $300 last year, but I managed to get it for $275 (that was with a $25 coupon from Costco). My guess is that it will be on sale again for about the same sale price or lower.
