Is this a good price on the kitchenaid? I've wanted one for a while but don't know if I should pull the trigger on this deal.

I am using hand mixer for mixing batters (pancake, muffin...etc) in a big glass bowl. What is advantage of using kitchen aid compared to hand mixer? I am not sure I should spend $$$ on this one or it.

My wife was begging for one for her bday. I was able to get one brand new from eBay. $125 no tax free shipping. There are more around that price

Apparently this KitchenAid mixer is their cheapest entry, with a brushed metal bowl, some nylon attachments, 250W. Black only. For comparison, Costco had the Pro model, 6qt,, something close to 600W for about $260?

Depends on how often you use it and if you want it as a decorative item, I guess.

You want artisan or pro. Adjustable tilt head, better bowls and more power.

Picked up the 6 quart from Costco at Thanksgiving fur around a hundred. It was 150 then a 50 mail in. They seem to do this every year now.
