I have 1 great mouse. Does target do online pickup order and price adjustment at pickup?

It's been this price for weeks. The newly revised G703 is out. This version has had a lot of mousewheel problems getting loose and rattling. If you still want the g403 it's best to wait for when BestBuy starts to clear out the wireless version for a much better deal than this wired. They've had it on sale for $50 (from 99.99 msrp) once before. Could be seeing an even better deal soon with the G403 models being discontinued and the G703's out now.

Not sure, I happened to find 3 in stock at a local Target. One had a $34.98 clearance sticker, the others did not. However, they all priced out at $34.98 with the price scanner.

Not sure how accurate this is, but it seems as though the loose scroll issue was with the early batch:

"Update: I've tried 2 new wired copies now and neither have a loose scroll. According to Logitech, it was just some of the early batch, but it should be fine on all new copies. From the reports I've received, no one has had a scroll wheel issue since the early batch."

Don't think so. I just recently bought the wireless g403 from the bestbuy deal for $50 that was posted here not too long ago and mines had the rattling mousewheel. So the problem is pretty widespread. I think the problem is you can't tell if you actually have a newer batch. Stores could be sitting on earlier batches for a long time. I had to RMA it. Logitech was pretty good at replacing it but it was a waste of time. For a $99 msrp mouse I expected better. What's interesting is that the g703 model has wireless charging feature now and it's retailed at the same msrp price. If you're not in a hurry I'd probably wait for the wireless g403 deal to come around again. The ability to go wired (or wired) is a huge plus. Hopefully it'll go sub $50 next time around. I'd pick up a spare.
