i'd recommend buying a proper hub adapter for anyone that wants their spokes to last more than a week.

the kit uses rubber pads and pressure to affix the drivechain directly to the metal spokes, causing damage from torque where it doesn't belong. yes, it's a terrible design but it's also cheap to mass produce.

amazon item # B01LRD9ROS runs around 30 bucks but there's more expensive options

BYOB?

Looks like a fun project, but I reckon you better know what your doing since it may require some extra tinkering with fitment.

I've installed a kit exactly like this on my bike, they are pretty cool. I've ridden over 900 miles and had no problems at all. For under $100 this is a awesome deal and a blast to ride.

What type of speed do you attain on this? I'm sure it factors a lot on body weight, but lets say a 200lb person for example.

Thinking of pairing this up with my $35 Wal-mart Panama Jack 26" single speed Cruiser bike.

last thing you need is to have Hollywood actors running you over in their BMW because you are non-carb compliant ...

I'm 180lbs and my top speed is 32mph with stock parts. You can gain a few more mph if you trick out your motor. Currently my bike can reach 37mph which feels pretty darn fast on a mountain bike.

LOL no. Plenty of 2 strokes here. Just they are pretty much all low oil usage 50:1. I have a hitachi 2-stroke leaf blower and 1 2-stroke Tanaka gas scooter.
