No it is something to add to the discussion once people see organic they also equate it with pure and 100% I will also pass on this as it is not 100%, why would I pay for filler ingredientsConfused This is what the wisdom of group discussions is supposed to bring to the table he is absolutely in the right to bring this nuance out as it will absolutely prevent many from purchasing who would otherwise overlook itWave

I thought it was helpful ivioksha mentioned there was guar gum. I cannot have guar gum because of a gut condition, and he/she saved me time having to click through the link checking for guar gum myself (which I always do when these coconut milk deals are posted). So, thank you, ivioksha!

Unfortunately, any time saved was eclipsed by the time I felt I had to spend defending ivioksha from people who feel the need to police the internet.

Thanks for the post. This is a good price. Please note that this is an "add-on" only item. Additionally the $8.55 price is only for Subscribe & Save. On it's own, and only then as an add-on item, it's $9. Here are the details of Add-on only items:
"Add-on items are available for purchase with over $25 of items shipped by Amazon, excluding gift cards. The Add-on program allows Amazon to offer thousands of low-priced items that would be cost-prohibitive to ship on their own. "

I shake them good, refrigerate overnight and there is only a small amount thats not creamy, but I use that in my coffee.

I definitely use these in my Pina Coladas!

It is unsweetened, but I don't eat much sugar, so tastes sweet to me.

Please elaborate... Are you saying a "tiny amount (less than 1%) of organic guar gum from the seeds of the guar plant" is good or bad as there are pros and cons to guar gum, but all cons are in huge quantities.

Just a simple warning to consumers who wants to avoid certain additives.

OK, but that's probably not necessary to do. Because if you are like you or others who are allergic to or avoid ingredients you check for those yourself for SURE. Just an odd comment to say without explanation.
Why does it have to be necessary to do? I don't get that comment.

I'm glad he mentioned it, because looking at this product, it has other additives in it. It's cheap, but it's not the best out there. These are important things to some people, so it's OK to discuss it.

Never used this stuff. But in my experience, I've found I really like the Savoy brand Coconut Cream. Much more expensive on Amazon, however. I buy it in local shops for about $1.89 per 14oz can, Thats approximately the same per ounce as this stuff.

Doing the math on grams of fat per mL, this stuff supposedly has a higher concentration of fat than the Savoy. Though not by a whole lot. Savoy also doesn't include guar gum, which is a stabilizer/thickener.

Overall, I'd say its worth a shot if you don't mind the guar gum, as the price is competitive. I generally use coconut cream (I dilute it with water myself) to make Thai curries.
