i find the convoy S2+ a better value. i bought mine for 1/2 the price.

also, for 1600 lumens, dont you need a special/custom 18650 battery? (which adds to the cost)

i think its a spring bypass on the tailcap spring. requires some soldering. not hard to do.

somewhat true. To hit the max on any of these direct drive lights you will be limited by how much current you can push with your 18650 cell. You will get at least 1000 as long as you use a decent cell.

i actually bought the 3d neutral white and the 5A yellow light and prefer the 5A. It's a personal preference, but I think that the warm white makes for a much nicer flashlight.
