Regularly $279.99 now $179.19 with SAFETY25 coupon code. Seems to be a price mistake/promo code mistake. 25% off shoucl only be $70 off, instead it is taking $100 off (36%!) So this deal may not last.

Go to Babiesrus.com and put either the Fit2 Legato or Fit2 Fleur in your cart, then check out with Coupon Code : SAFETY25. The coupon code doesn't apply the same to any of the other Fit2 colors/models

Retail $279.99 - $179.19 + tax with coupon code SAFETY25

Product Detail:
The Fit2 is a first-of-its-kind rear-facing Car Seat designed with two unique positions to accommodate infants and toddlers, making it easy to stay rear-facing for the first two years. A built in stage-position lever lifts easily to convert the Car Seat base from Stage 1 to Stage 2 with one motion, creating more upright, spacious seating for growing toddlers.

In Stage 1, the Fit2 functions like a traditional rear-facing infant seat, offering more reclined seating with removable head and body support to accommodate newborns and smaller infants from 0 to 12 months. In Stage 2, the Fit2 easily transitions to offer a more mature seating position and extended leg room for toddlers from 9 to 24 months - without taking up extra space in the vehicle! A 7-position headrest and padded no-rethread harness provide adjustability to accommodate growth throughout both stages.

Just like number 1-rated Chicco KeyFit, the Fit2 base is designed with easiest-to-install functionality. A one-hand Recline Sure leveling foot and two RideRight bubble levels help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. Premium LATCH connectors and a force-multiplying Super Cinch tightener help achieve a secure fit with a fraction of the effort! Plus, an integrated stabilizer bar increases surface contact between the base and vehicle seat, providing added support and leverage for a secure install.

The Fit2 is designed for use from 4-35 pounds in Stage 1/Infant Position, and from 15-35 pounds in Stage 2/Toddler Position, and up to 35 inches.

By blending real-world knowledge with cutting-edge research, Chicco provides mothers & children with simple, state-of-the-art solutions to improve everyday life and help them grow happily.

Not a price mistake, people must not realize that the words "price mistake" generate thousands of deal alert texts and emails.

Is the coupon giving a larger discount than it should? Yes. It is therefore a Price Mistake. It doesn't matter if it's for a product you aren't interested in.

Either get a thicker skin, or find a deal alert which is not the most broad and easily triggered on the entire SD site to subscribe to.

As CPST's, or car seat techs, the physics of car crashes and the physiology of infants and toddlers means that we really want to see you kids Rear Facing until age 3-4. They aren't just a little bit safer Rear Facing for that long, they're a whole lot safer that way.

These aren't "milestones", and it isn't a race. Every step forwards in car seats is a step backwards in safety.

Why so serious? It's the internet and if you want to be technical its a coupon mistake. Surrender 2Cheers

Babies R Us is such a rip off. Was planning to use the 25% off code last weekend and was still disgusted by the price. Went to AmazonWarehouse and got an open like new Graco 4 Ever carseat for 170$. With the coupon would have still cost me 250$ or so at Babies R Us

But what is the expiration date of the carseat? You are comparing a "like new" item to a brand new item. Kind of apples and oranges to me.

I'm not sure I'll reply back if I find it but this is for the babysitter to get him around so I'm ok with it being open box. We have a new one that was purchased for us off our registry. I just hate the price hikes babies r us does. Literally everything in the store is cheaper at Walmart or Amazon. No wonder they are going bankrupt

I agree. Just like Buy Buy Baby. I'm not sure most people realize they are a division of Bed Bath and Beyond and usually you can get a 20% off a single item coupon to Buy Buy Baby. I will only buy something from those stores with that coupon.

I bought this just a week ago from our registry using the 25% discount. Added it to the registry again and ordered it a second time, saving an extra $30+. I can put that extra $30 towards a second base and will return the original car seat to the store. Thanks so much for posting!
