From my last shopping experience, it is concluded I am too lazy to use this kind product to improve my life.

Wow this is a great deal. I was just about to buy the 1k wattage one @ walmart for $99 but for just a little extra I can get this ridiculous version instead! Thanks OP!

I thought about the Vitamix but it's just too far out of my $100 budget. I just need something to make my morning protein shake easier to stomach down and not have giant oats still floating. I was just fine with my garbage $20 blender before but the flooding of hurricane harvey bamboozled too many of my belongings. I figure I could just splurge a tiny bit for something I use every morning.

What does the Vitamix do that this one can't?

Hot soup...the Ninja does not even compare to a Vitamix. Vitamix is a "buy it for life"/"one and done" type of product.

It has intelligent programs that combine specific timed pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns that do the work for you.

The Ninja pulse is $40 regularly. I use that for morning protein smoothies and it works great. Otherwise, I use my Vitamix, whole nother league.

This is a full blender but the small containers are very similar to the Nutribullet. I have this model but the one with the food processor top as well and it works great. I would say Vitamax and Blendtec are a bit higher quality but they also cost a good chunk more $. For most people this will do everything you need and it's a great value at this price.

Doesn't look like it but you can probably buy one cheap. The one that I have for my Ninja is just thick plastic with a metal center.
