Problems posting in some forums, img {-moz-force-broken-image-icon: 1;}

Recently I've noticed on some different sites I've been having issues posting. I'll type in whatever, try to post it, and I will get a notice about trying to submit code. If I copy what I've typed and paste it, this shows up at the end... img {-moz-force-broken-image-icon: 1;}
I don't know what is causing that to get in there. After pasting I can remove that bit and it will post without problem. I've never seen an issue like that. Haven't tested but I'm assuming it's being caused by firefox. Has anyone noticed this?

Try Private browsing mode to see if it's one of your plugins that are interfering. If that doesn't work I would reinstall Firefox.

I solve the problem deleting some accessories of Firefox.

He resuelto el problema borrando algunos complementos de Firefox.

I believe it comes from using Adblock

I have the same issue. The HTML is only visible when I ctrl-C -> ctrl-V overwrite, otherwise gets sent as hidden code that then forum code rejects as malformed content. After making visible, I can manually remove and submit the forum post. But this is a tedious workaround.

Ditto duhmel -- what was needed to delete?? I've tried turning off AdBlock for the affected sites to no avail. Installed greasemonkey or whatever it's called as a proposed solution I've seen on another site, to no avail.

The problem is so frequent that I am tempted to switch back to my Safari which doesn't have this problem.

I deleted Firefox and am using Vivaldi as my browser - it is a virtual clone of Chrome, uses add-ons for Chrome but has more flexibility in setting of the user interface. As time goes on and Firefox is 'improved', more and more issues crop up. When the rocket scientists in charge of the browser started eliminating 'legacy' add-ons, I said sayonara, adios amigos.
