"Updated" view vs. Classic for Subscribed Threads page

I switched from Classic to the "updated" version of SD today. "Full version" setting.

Wow. I can see what so many people have complained about. I have a wall of desktop monitors, but the "full" version of the site looks like it's in a mobile version for 5-inch screens. Maybe SD took a poll and found its readers all have bad eyesight and like to scroll a lot?

Hovering over my avatar at the top-right no longer includes links to things like "Subscribed Threads." That's minor, since "My Subscriptions" does show up in the top bar. But from what I can tell, I can only get to subscribed threads while first going to the forums. I don't see a My Subscriptions anywhere on the Front Page. That means I'd go to the Front Page less often.

The main reason for this post is, unless my browser is broken, the Subscribed Threads page only shows about four threads at a time. They're huge with multiple lines and lots of blank space. The design fits in with the rest of the mobile-looking "full" version, but...

If that's intended, and if there isn't a setting already somewhere to have the Subscribed Threads page fit 15-ish threads on one page like the Forums does, then there should be.

If you click "saved items" subscribed threads is one of the items on the submenu that appears (picture attached).

For me, I can see 15 threads on each page in that list. i see the same when i get there via the "all forums" page too, so i'm not sure why you can only see 4, unless you mean before you have to scroll

Yep, that was my first day again trying the new version, and I missed the arrow for the hidden sub-menu on Saved Items. Sites keep trying to hide things now. The most annoying is when sites hide the search function.

You are correct that I meant 4 lines without scrolling. I don't need huge descriptions for each subscribed thread. I subscribed to them, so I already have a clue what they are about.

Browsing SD in Updated View is like browsing a website using Windows Metro. The updated Mobile version is arguably better for power users on desktop than the updated Full version.

Just so much wasted space. As I said, apparently SD users/developers are blind or like to scroll a lot.
Maybe Slickdeals made some deals with companies to sell more mice by helping to burn out the scroll wheels so people then have to buy new mice.
