A short explanation on these lights:

Can be controlled via a lightify hub, or smartthings or Wink. You cannot control them with two hubs at a time.

The lightify dimmer wall switch only works with a lightify hub.

Turning the bulbs on and off using your regular wall switch or when it comes bac on after a power outage the lights will reset to maximum brightness.

Note: OSRAM LIGHTIFY bulbs have a known firmware issue that can occasionally cause them to fail as ZigBee repeaters. This can potentially cause other ZigBee devices to fail to update and/or respond.

Found that on Smartthings from back in 2016. Another thread said it's now better but not great (paraphrasing). That was the tipping point for me since I need some ZigBee repeaters. Still a great price though.

I have a bunch of the GE bulbs. I assume these work the same way where if you lose power and when it is restored all your lights come on at full brightness?

They do, at least the flex strips I have. Any idea how to fix this?

I think (untested, theory only) that you could use webcore to save the value to a variable, updating every time. Then also monitor power outages and upon initial firing after a power outages, restore the stored value. Would likely be a complex solution to a small problem.
