lol @ the front page listing.. "Smartlocks ... from $61.40" ..except the only thing here less than $100 is decidedly *not* smart.

There are third party apps that give this thing full functionality through smart things (I use apps from RBoy)

It does work with smartthings, but has zero features available through it. With wink, you have everything in the app that the lock can do. Add/remove codes, set/change alarm, vacation mode.... Everything. 100% better with wink.
I have smartthings, but user this shortly with wink.

the Camelot Connect works great with Smartthings and has awesome battery life, it auto locks and unlocks at least a couple times a day and it's still reporting full battery with Eneloops

Handle doesn't lock, and deadbolt automatically locks after 30 seconds. Seems like it's inevitable that the door will be left open for >30sec & someone will smash the deadbolt into the door frame.

Yeap, have the kwikset version of this, and happens. Also jams if the door isn't fully closed as it engages.

But you know what, I wouldn't live without it. I can enter my house thru the garage with code on outside door and inside door. Great when carrying stuff or coming in from yard work, where phone may not be available.

You can turn that off.

With the Schlage version, the deadbolt "bolt' portion that goes into the door is tapered for the first half inch to inch to help prevent this. It's actually a pretty good idea.

Also you can turn off the auto-relock if you want.

I had a Wink 2, and replaced it with a SmartThings 2 and they both work fantastic. Although, there is ONE CAVEAT.

The Schlage interface for SmartThings is complete garbage with the features available. However the RBoy SmartApps takes care of all that and makes it miles better than the Wink 2 Stock. Ask any questions, I have spent a lot of time with those locks and the 2 connected hubs.

You don't need (or want) a locking handle when you have a class 1 deadbolt; redundant and just a way to lock yourself out.

Also, wrong, it only autolocks (after whatever period of time you set in your home automation software) if you want it to. Mine is not set to autolock.

I learned that the hard way quickly and immediately disabled it. I have mine set to auto lock after 15 min which I could custom set through SnartThings

I have multiple of the connect camelots. The solution is to just shut your door, it's simple. You can change the setting to not automatically lock the door also.

chargeable or standard batteries? I have one and the batteries that came with it (Duracell) lasted two months. Two.

I just changed the batteries on my front door for the first time after about a year. If I recall, I remember reading reviews where some people complained about poor battery life. Are you using a hub?
