This was $45 for last 2 weeks. I was looking for one to cut a hole in a door got a Bosch set instead after seeing in lowes. This is used for wood and thin metal, sheet rock, stuff you can use saw on hence holesaw.

Diamon tip is used for granite, marble, stone etc and does not have a saw tooth.

Forgot to add that this set has teeth that are wide apart and would not give a fine finish, good for electrician as it states since it will cut a hole fast but not neat.

Don't be a bi-metalphobe. Bi-metals have the same rights as straight metals.

Yeah, this set works nicely. We use them in wood and steel with no issues.

Are these diamond or carbide tipped? I'm told those are the best options.

These are diamond tipped, with the finest quality diamonds known to man. I bought one set and made my wife a 10ct diamond ring. She left me.
