Remember when companies would make bundles for the holidays where a free game or two was included? Yeah, won't be getting this system this christmas for the kids unless they throw in a free game for the $299 price tag or cheaper.

Not sure that this is that good a deal consider that Switches are coming into stock more and more frequently...

Also, while everything is a hassle at GameStop from taxes to shipping to customer service, getting a refund if something is wrong when there is a download code involved is crazy. I understand not refunding the download code, but they once tried to tell me that I couldn't return anything since a download was involved. I was able to return it -- after spending an hour talking to various people.

At bare minimum, see if you can get this from a different retailer.

Too bad the game is a download code and not a physical copy. Pass

I'm still holding out hope for some sort of Black Friday deal that will have at least something bundled for a discount...

Not going to happen. Understand supply and demand. Economics 101. These systems don't stay in stock longer than 5 minutes. Xbox One X preorders stay in stock for days at a time.

Also, did the OP even check the link because it doesn't add to cart. Even if you wanted this you can't buy it.

Oh wow, supply and demand? What is that? Never heard of it. Besides the point. Point being, unless they include a game for free, I ain't buying bub. Especially for a crappy system with barely any games.

Already got the Xbox X on preorder too, FYI

Yeah, since they can't even keep these in stock I don't think they need to toss in a free game.

He complains about the Nintendo Switch for $380 bundle but will pay $500 for an overpriced crap system called the Xbox One X which comes with only 1 controller. Meanwhile the switch comes with 2 and Mario Odyssey will most likely win game of the year awards from major gaming review sites. Seeing that Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are ranked in the top 3 for greatest video games of all time: http://www.gamerankings.com/browse.html

You sound very bias... lmaooo so why the Xbox one x is crappy? Switch barely has any games therefore at this very moment paying thst much isn't justified, it doesn't even have Netflix or YouTube or hulu... It's not even a 4k player for thst much money. Now back to the Xbox one x... the library is massive. Not much in term of exclusives but the Xbox one X this very moment is a better buy than a switch I'd you have 4ktv and need an entertainment hub which happens to have a massive game library...

Are these the same red joy-cons that are already out or different ones? They look darker in the pictures.

These are darker. This is a special edition bundle that Nintendo just announced today as part of their Nintendo Direct press conference.

This isn't a GameStop "bundle" where they're jamming you with a bunch of overpriced accessories, this is a Nintendo bundle that will be available in limited quantities nationwide.

You said it perfectly: "Not much in term of exclusives". You are buying a GAMING CONSOLE, if it doesn't have games, why bother? I have a desktop PC that can output 4K content to any device on my network and do so much more. That's the different between Nintendo and Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo makes the greatest games of all time (check my link listed above in my last post) and Microsoft and Sony sell you a system that they market more as a media hub that also plays games.

Most of Microsoft's big games come out to PC, and the PC experience is always better (better graphics, smoother frame rates, mouse and keyboard). Those media hubs suck too having to navigate with a controller. I rather have my desktop PC that can run any app I want. Setup an Xbox One and tell me you don't hate it. You turn on the system and it takes 30+ minutes to initially setup (download updates, setup accounts, etc). They force you to own a microsoft email address, force you to sell your data to microsoft, etc. Want to play your games online? Oh yeah, you better pay us to play online! What fun. vomit
