This bottle is the freaking worst design ever. No way to stop the glugging no matter how slow you pour. It always decides to glug right when you should stop pouring because the dishwasher is full so in turn just makes a mess and keeps pouring out until you can get the angle right to stop the pour. These should be squeeze bottles not just tip and it pours.

I'll be seeking an alternate after our bottle is used up.

How does this compare to the Costco buy one get one free sale that they typically run?

You get two bottles with Costco. This amazon deal only contains one bottle.
Hope that answered your question.

The Costco size is 300 washes for 10 dollars (in NYC) and it goes down to basically five dollars each with that sale , so way way better at Costco

It's supposed to help rinse off that white residue that gets left over during the dishwashing process.

They probably designed the bottle that way so more product is used up quickly. Did you ever find a better alternative?

Costco is cheaper even when not on sale, assuming it's still $9.99 like last time I saw it.

Costco store YMMV:
300 washes for $9.99
3.33 cents per wash
Amazon deal:
210 washes for $7.63
3.63cents per wash
Costco website:
300 washes for $12.99
4.33cents per wash
Costco sale from earlier in 2017:
300 washes for $4.99
1.67 centers per wash

I agree you have to use a funnel to keep from making a mess.

No, not at all. But I bet you thought you were pretty cute.
