I saw this deal posted by Target. I'm guessing there will be better deals posted today by carriers, but here is another option:

Apple iPhone 8/ iPhone 8 Plus
With wireless charging, a new camera, augmented reality features, super-fast processor and more, you won't want to put this one down!
Price: iPhone 8 starts at $699+ ($29.17/month with a 24-month carrier agreement) and iPhone 8 Plus at $799+ ($33.34/month with a 24-month carrier agreement)
Pre-order: Sept. 15
Available: Sept. 22
Bonus! Exclusive extras just for REDcard holders: As always, REDcard holders save an additional 5% on nearly all items at Target. But there's more… The first 3,000 debit or credit REDcard guests to pre-order the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus on Target.com get a spot on the priority reserve list. REDcard holders can also pre-order and trade up to the new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 plus and get a $200 trade-in value on an iPhone 6 or newer, get $120 in Target eGiftCards over the term of a 24-month-agreement and receive 10% off a phone case the day of activation. *Exclusions and restrictions apply. See Target.com for offer details.

So basically 120 egc unless you have a very beat-up iphone 6 that doesn't worth $200?

Wonder if they'll accept an iPhone se since it came out after the 6? Technically it is "later" than the 6. Potentially Free $60 for anyone that got in on the BB iPhone se deal.

They do not accept the SE.

The $120 Gift Card is essentially $15 every 90 days delivered by email. Total amount received varies depending on finance length.

It may not be the best deal out of all the carriers, but for AT&T members (with a redcard) I think this may be the best deal (for the first 3000). In the long run, it is as good or better than what Sam's Club offers and doesn't require that membership. It's better than the AT&T offer because it doesn't require Directv or a premium plan.

Also, does anyone know if you will save 5% with the redcard?

Has anyone that did the pre-order through Target received notification today that their phone is ready for pick-up?

I received my email. The email said I should call to confirm, but I don't think that was necessary. If you got the email, then they should hold the phone for 24 hours regardless of whether you call to set up a pick-up time. Relevant text:
"Hello Name!
It's time to start enjoying your new phone. Please call and schedule a pickup and activation appointment with a Target Tech representative as soon as possible. The contact number of your store is listed below.
If you ordered more than one phone and only one is listed in this email, your second phone may be available for pickup at a different time. You will receive another email when your second phone is ready.
Because of high demand, if your phone is not picked up within 24 hours of this email, we may need to contact other guests with reservations.
Head to the Electronics Department when you come in for pickup and your Target Tech rep will help you set up your new phone. And, don't forget to select a new case, charger or Popsocket®!
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Did anyone get the $200 trade in for their old phone applied to their carrier bill or did they get a target gift card out of it?
