FYI these were last produced in 2011 and are no longer under any kind of warranty from Aeon Labs.

You will likely receive them with dead or dying batteries (you'll know because they'll hold no charge)

You can replace the battery with generic ones from eBay for about $8 but it requires soldering and cutting some plastic to get the cases open.

Now that I've changed my batteries, they work great. BuyDig offered me a full replacement when I told them that they're out of warranty and can't be replaced.

these minimotes with the ST button controller app are EXTREMELY handy!!! 4 buttons each with a short and long press can control 8 items per minimote. you can have several remotes (buttons) control the same items thus you can have a remote at your easy chair and one at your bedside to control the same light, etc.

at about $13.50 AC for each minimote this is a decent deal. Thats what i got them for each at the same store after using the ebay $15/$75 coupon that comes around every once in a while.

Just make sure you charge them up right away and test them out for a couple of days as i did receive a couple of duds that would not charge.

I just tell Alexa what I want. Pushing a button seems like too much trouble. Smilie

The motion sensor is very good - I have one in the bedroom to trigger the light on/off during a specific time range. Had it AC powered, but it can also have batt backup.

1. It doesn't
2. You can see your recordings online
3. You can delete your recording history

Could someone please explain what makes these ~$50 motion sensors so precious vs $15-25 models. Thank you experts!
