Considering this is the one with the Radeon 560 card with 4GB video memory, this deal is slick!!!

Just got this same laptop, albeit 512GB SSD, for $2700 with a free pair of beats solo for EDU discount. This would have been a better deal but the 256 drive kills it for me.

Hmm... that model on Everymac says it's a 2GB GPU.

http://www.everymac.com/systems/a...specs.html

Is it a legit 4GB GPU? That's a decent deal if so...

Meh. With the proliferation of home NASes, Cloud storage, and streaming media services (like Spotify, Netflix, etc) local storage is not nearly as important today

Listing details may be wrong. Pricing and model number corresponds with the Radeon 555

Paid 2599 for the 512 a few weeks ago. This is too small for me but the price is pretty solid. Thumbs up.

Is it kinda tricky to type while trying to avoid that gigantic trackpad?.....where does one rest their hands while typing?

Seems like there would be a lot of false trackpad "clicks" unless you keep your hands elevated permanently above the computer

Agreed, the 560 comes with the 2.9ghz w the 512g SSD standard.

This will have the 555 with the 2 gb Radeon.

FYI, one advantage of Kaby Lake CPUs is that battery life for 4k streaming is much improved over last year's Skylake.
