Can somebody explain a wifi repeater my attenea is up in closet and don't have ethernet upstairs I'm trying to send the OTA wifi signal over wifi to the big TV downstairs.....

I would recommend a powerline adapter if you can (plug in one at the router and the other at the antenna with the HDHomeRun). Otherwise, like the other user said, use a WiFi extender or bridge to connect to your existing network. A lot of routers can do this if you run something like DD-WRT on it if you happen to have a spare laying around.
