Free Upgrade to T-Mobile One Plus with T-Mobile Business Account Activation

Since I may want to take advantage of the Note 8 BOGO, I need to be on T-Mobile One. It wasn't worth it for me to switch until I came across this deal in the business section of T-Mobile's website: https://business.t-mobile.com/t-m...1V4EZU9931

I've been on the SC 10GB plan for over a year (on the consumer side). I have 5 lines that I'm paying $140 per month plus taxes and fees. As everyone here knows, all of the new phone promos are for T-Mobile One customers only (or SC Unlimited). The old SC plans are better since they already include HD video, high speed tethering, etc. Including taxes and fees, I'm currently paying about $170 per month. The new plan would cost me $180 per month (including Plus for free) and one of my lines will qualify for the Kickback each month bringing the plan to the same price as what I'm currently paying (after the $10 credit).

I think this promo has been going on since 9/1/17 but I didn't see it mentioned on the forums here. If you qualify for a business line (I have my own company), it may finally be worth making the switch over to the T-Mobile One plan with the Plus thrown in for free (and grandfathered in I was told). I was also told I'd be able to port over my 5 existing lines to the business account and all 5 lines will get the Plus for free.

Don't know when this expires but I may do it in the store Friday.

Just be aware that business accounts may not qualify for some offers like free Netflix if that's important to you.

Thanks for the post OP. Anyone know if I can keep a free "this ones on us" line if I were to move over to a business account?

The Netflix promo is nice but that would only save me $10 per month vs the $50 per month I'll be saving on the free Plus promo. Maybe if enough business customers complain they'll bring that promo over to the business side. Don't see that happening though.

What's the advantage of a free plus, although it has 50 dollar value? Data and voice are what most need, and that can be gotten without plus. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I have been wanting to move to the "One" plan but I am on a similar boat and have the following:

1) 6 lines for $140 a month
2) Have the International calling for $10 for the account so I can call internationally on all lines to several countries listed (UK, India, etc).
3) I have 2 tablet lines for Free with 2 tablets that are free on the EIP. I think actually I have 8 lines in this case and would have to ride out the EIP until next year before I can switch else highly risk losing the Line and EIP credits.

My 2 lines do not use up that much data as they are for my parents so i'd assume some sort of a kick back....

The biggest risk with Tmobile is that anytime you switch your billing becomes a nightmare as it never goes in straightforward and requires watching your bill like a hawk and spending hours with Customer Support for months before its cleared up....

Biggest advantage is what you stated that all the new offers are with the One plan and going from the 4GB (2.5+1.5promo) is a big advantage on at least 3 other lines...

The value is $10 per month per line. I have 5 lines which is why I'm stating it has a $50 value to me. If you don't need the HD video or high speed tethering, then the regular One is fine. I really want those two features however because I currently have them and use them on my SC plan.

Per the T-Mobile Website:

What features are included with T-Mobile ONE Plus?

You can activate HD Video, up to 10GB of 4G LTE Hotspot data, and twice the speeds in 140+ countries and destinations on any new or existing T-Mobile ONE line for just $10 more per month. Simply visit My.T-Mobile.com,or the T-Mobile app. Add ONE PLUS and get:

Unlimited HD video streaming (US only) Unlimited mobile hotspot with up to 10GB of high speed data
Unlimited Gogo®: Wi-Fi for the full flight on Gogo-equipped flights of U.S.-based airlines
2X faster international data speeds: 256kbps speeds in 140+ countries and destinations
Voicemail to Text: Voicemails transcribed into text or email
Name ID: Screen calls and block numbers

I currently have 5 lines on SC 2.5 none of the lines reach 2gb/mo.

Is it worth it to switch to One, or to One Plus with this offer? I believe I'm paying about $160 + tax /fees or so. I'd like being able to get in on the BOGO deals but I wonder if it's worth it, depending on the cost difference between the SC and the One Plus/One deals. One of my lines has higher bandwidth allotment, and I do also have an additional tablet device. The tablet barely gets 50mb a month, but I was told a few months ago that I cannot go back to the free-for-life 200mb plan. The phone line with higher bandwidth doesn't use much data either. I work from home 100% of the time, but I don't know what the qualification requirements are for T-Mobile Business, and if it could adversely affect me.

You should give them a call but be sure to speak to a rep on the business side only as they have much more expertise with the business plans. Try calling 1-844-4AT-WORK.

I have the same issue. 8 lines on the original 4GB (2.5+1.5promo) with $10 international calling on all lines. There is no way to get the $10 international calling on all lines on new plan...and thats what is keeping me away from switching.

Hmm... I wonder if existing @Work accounts can upgrade from the "One Plus Promo" (1 hr gogo included) to the "One Plus" (unlimited gogo)?

Went to the store and took the plunge today. Took a while but all went well. They put the one plus promo for free on all 5 of my consumer lines that I moved to business and then I added a 6th line to do the note 8 bogo that I was able to buy on the spot (which I much preferred than having them shipped to me).

I'm not doing any switching or BOGO because our 4 SC lines with 4gb data is $100/mo. That's been plenty of data for us. We are still getting a corporate discount of about $8 too, which we couldn't get back if changes occurred (wife doesn't work there anymore).
