I have 5 of these and they have been rock solid too. I do have a tip though. After you get them setup, change the device handler from the visonic custom one to "SmartSense Open/Closed Sensor." This will allow them to run locally so they will continue to work even when your internet is down!

Works with wink, but temp won't work

I have 2 of them that I just got a month ago. They came with instructions because they require a custom handler in Smartthings but it was really easy to set up having never done it before. They came with spacers too which even the Smartthings branded sensor doesn't come with.

I haven't had any issues with them and I have had my Smartthings sensor lose connectivity. If I need any more I'll definitely be buying these again.

They also shipped very fast (from upstate NY I think).

You ordered from this site?

and how big are these? They look relatively large compared to smartthings

I have 3 of the door/window sensors and they are almost half the size of smartthings door/window sensors. The sensors are very tiny.

They are seriously the most stable part of my ha setup. Rock solid, I'm getting more today to finish the house. Perfect price point and excellent functionality

Agreed all around these sensors are well worth the money. They are small and stable. The temperature gauge on mine are slightly off (like 4 degrees consistently), by you can offset it in SmartThings.

I will also chime in. I have 14 of these in my house, NEVER have issues. They are solid and easily half the size of the ST sensors. I bought all 14 from this site and had a great experience.

Contemplating buying a sensor for my actual garage door.

yes they are really good. very responsive, battery last forever, and they also carry a temperature sensor in them so that's a plus.

Are they really smaller than these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0118RQW3W/ ?

From the picture with the quarter for size, they look larger than the ST ones I got with my ST kid.

Thanks for info!

I can't say enough good about these. I have them on every door and window in my house as well as both garage doors. They are stable and responsive and I have had zero issues with them. I have three of the motion sensors as well and they have been rock solid too. The door sensors are small enough for me. The motion sensors are a bit big but have been awesome and batteries last forever. Seriously buy them, they are great.
