Great deal. This is the #1 recommended robot vac for the price from 2017 Sweet Home's review of 16 models. [thesweethome.com]

This price is also a great value. Only $10 above its all time low, which (according to a certain camel website) it only hit twice for a few hours at a time in the past year. Typically sells for 199 with temporary price drops to 179

In for 1 at 159.88 shipped.

Waited on this sale for about 1.5 months and then went ahead and purchased for $199. It died after about 3 weeks, so I returned and ordered another one last Tuesday (received yesterday). NOW it goes on sale! Honestly at $200 it was a fair price. At $160 it's a great deal.

Why buy again if the first one failed? I assume all of these cheaper Chinese items are subject to failures - especially battery failures. But I had already decided to return the $400 (+tax) Roomba to Costco (which probably would have been returnable for years) on the basis that 2 of these could out-perform 1 Roomba.

In any event, I'm reaching out to the seller to see if a refund is possible. If not, I will return a second one and purchase the third.

UPDATE: Ecovacs honored the discount and gave me a partial refund on the unit I bought 2 days before this sale. They were prompt in their reply - really great to work with.

To be fair, this is very good for the sketchy robovac market.

The M80 was $160 about a month ago....I bought that one back then and I would call it superb for the price.

I can't speak about the N79, but I do enjoy my Deebot.

I bought the M80 Pro (edit: from this deal) a few weeks ago. It's done a great job with the wood floors.

One thing to be aware of, if you buy this hoping to control it with their app: the vac only connects to 2.4GHz wifi. If your phone is connected to a 5GHz hotspot, you will not see the vac. I had auto band switching enabled on my Ubiquiti, so I had to create a separate 2.4-only network to play with the app.

Purchased one about 4 weeks ago for $170 and consider it one of the best purchases I ever made. Evovacs appears to be the manufacturer of an identical Eufy model. I was looking at higher priced irobot models when I saw a deal and decided because of the positive reviews, it was worth a shot. Some irobot reviewers complained the irobot hit molding hard and left black marks and I recall seeing a relative's irobot in action, repeatedly hitting a fixed object hard. While ecovac reviewers mentioned how gentle it was and mine has been. Also, the specs claimed 100min max run run time, vs lower priced irobot's claimed 60min. I haven't timed it, but mine seems to run far longer than 100 min between charges. Also, although many of the reviewers complained about the smart phone app, it's worked flawlessly for me and it's nice to be able to start a cleaning from work, if I forgot before I left home. As best I could tell the wifi feature only appeared to come with irobot's costing 3-4 times what I paid for my ecovac. This is my first robot vacuum and I love it. I've been running it daily, even when the floors look clean, it always finds a ton of gunk. Mine has already done $170 worth of cleaning and I still have 11 months left on the warranty.

Those with experience - would this cross a small dip in the floor for a sliding door to enter my bathroom? Or would I have to put it in there and let it clean?

Was considering the Xiaomi at $300 but am nervous about fires and inability to return it. This for $160 through Amazon is a no brainer. Thanks.

How well does it clean. Do you have carpet or hard wood

Eufy advertises 1000Pa suction power. This has half the Pa power. Eufy has lower profile.

edit: this model says up to 1000 Pa. i think these are all generic chinese product that has been relabeled.
