this stuff goes on sale at kroger for $0.50 a box all the time. not a good deal.
Too bad Kroger is not out in the East coast. I always hear about Kroger deals. I went there once and it pretty nice with the deals when I visited a friend out in Phoenix.

I think the best we get here in NYC is $1 per box when on sale, so this deal is a steal.

Maybe you can't understand how this works but just because there is a better deal elsewhere, doesn't mean something else isn't a good deal. Furthermore, not everyone likes by Kroger and not everyone wants to visit a physical supermarket. What is a better deal to you due to proximity and you willing to spend your time in a physical store is a bad deal for someone who has a busy lifestyle and cannot drive to their closest Kroger - which for me, is an hour drive.

$1 for Barilla is an insane deal in NYC. I snagged a bunch of Ronzoni for $1 each and that was a really good deal. Used to be 2 for $1 years ago.

Same, ShopRite has these for $0.50 regularly. These Amazon deals are a complete joke. SD must be taking in mad referral fees for all these crappy Amazon Crime deals.
Didn't know ShopRite had that deal, thanks for the info. I just wish that store was walking distance from me like Pathmark was before they closed. Now I just got crappy Key Food sales in the neighborhood.

Dude you're lucky. I've never seen Barilla Pasta at my ShopRite for 50 cents.

I don't have a Kroger or shoprite by me. The cheapest I've ever seen this is 88 cents a box but that is very rare. $1 is the usual sale price every few months

I think I'll continue to boycott Barilla [snopes.com] for a little while longer.
It's the kind of liberalism run amok that I'm generally opposed to, but I think keeping Barilla in the doghouse for about five years is fitting for Guido Barilla's if-they-don't-like-it-they-can-f-off attitude.
