I have had my Zojirushi Micom rice maker for almost 20 years now. Hoping for good things from this boiler 👌

Love this. Keeps water hot at certain temps. Mine is 5 years going strong. Have to clean with citric acid or the cleaner every so often to clean up

I've had mine for almost five years as well. Spent $150 on it.

I use it every morning to make coffee with my Aero Press, use it for hot tea, etc.

I think it's great. This model is the updated model from the one I have.

Does require cleaning/descaling, especially if you have harder water, but I bought a pound of citric acid from Amazon and do a couple tablespoons every few months and then rinse.

Which model do you have? seems this one is slightly cheaper, isn't VE, and uses more power than CV-DCC40/50

What is the difference? Really would like to know as the two models seem very similar but the prices are so different.

Product description says it is "Vacuum-Electric Hybrid Water Boiler and Dispenser".
Though this is not Japan made I prefer.

Ah, you're right. I have the VE model. Thought I saw in the description that this was a VE version.

This is the best water boiler & heater around. Had it for years and use it daily no issue at all.
