Can you explain how instant noodles are bad for your health except for the msg and not much nutritional value/protein and vitamins? What type of ailments would it cause? I only know that when eating this as your only diet, you lack a lot of nutrients.

It pretty much goes with any processed instant food. Enjoy in moderation.

Sodium. A single serving contains ~2000 mg of sodium.

Thanks for the explanation from a physician SD'er. BTW, it's $12 on sale at one of the Asian supermarkets that I am at right now. So, thumbs up.

I thought most instant noodles are fried, unless they explicitly say that they're not.

I remember some of those companies came out with non-fried noodles many years ago, but they didn't taste as good.
